Every manuscript submitted to us is reviewed before we offer publication. We want to work with authors and books that are a good fit for the Midnight Tales Press catalogue.

How it works
1. Submit Your Manuscript
Send us your completed manuscript along with a short synopsis and some information about yourself and your book.
2. We Review Your Work
Every submission is considered before publication is offered. Submission does not guarantee acceptance.
We'll look at the manuscript, its suitability for our catalogue and whether we believe Midnight Tales Press is the right publishing home for your work.
3. Receive a Publishing Proposal
If we'd like to work with you, we'll provide a publishing proposal explaining the services offered, publishing costs, royalties and terms.
You'll know the costs and terms before making any payment or commitment.
4. Prepare Your Book for Publication
Once the publishing agreement is in place and the required files are ready, we'll prepare your title for publication and distribution under the Midnight Tales Press imprint.
5. Your Book Goes Live
Once published, your book can be made available through the agreed sales and distribution channels, with sales subsequently included in your author reporting.

Your complete manuscript
A short synopsis
The book title
The genre
Approximate word count
A brief author biography/introduction
Whether the book has previously been published
Any other information you think we should know about the book
Please attach your manuscript rather than pasting the entire book into the body of your email.
Midnight Tales Press does not currently provide an in-house cover-design service.
Authors will therefore need to provide suitable cover artwork for publication. We'll provide the relevant technical requirements so that your cover can be prepared correctly for the chosen print format.
If changes are required before a supplied cover can be used for publication, we'll let you know before proceeding.

We believe authors should understand exactly what they're agreeing to.
If your manuscript is accepted, your publishing proposal will clearly set out the cost of the publishing service, what's included, royalty arrangements and the relevant publishing terms before you commit.
Submitting a manuscript is free and does not place you under any obligation to publish with us.
Do not send payment with a submission.
